Bronwyn Liber
MULTIMEDIA STORYTELLER
ABOUT
Journalists are taught to follow the distinctive path of ABC- Always be capturing, covering, and communicating and that is exactly what we do through our storytelling, but as a journalist here is a look into my own story. My name is Bronwyn Liber, and I am a digital multimedia storyteller from Dallas, TX, with a focus within Broadcast Journalism.
Ever since a very young age I loved to speak and be in front of the camera any chance I had, but it wasn’t until a camera was first placed into my hands in which I found my love for journalism as a whole. From this I found my passion for both news and sports in different forms of media. From interviewing a state representative, covering mass destruction incidents, and being my high school's first ever live sideline reporter, I allowed my love for storytelling to have no boundaries. In 2023, I was awarded NSPA’s Broadcast Story of Year for my coverage over the Allen Outlets Shooting that took place in the neighboring community of Allen, Texas.
Post high school I headed up north to Penn State University after being accepted into the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications, where I am majoring in broadcast journalism while double minoring in sports studies and sociology. Despite this drastic change I will never forget the quote “everyone has a story to tell”, and that is exactly what I want to achieve through my work. I take being at the start of my career as an opportunity not a challenge, looking to get hands on with different roles in the workforce. With every story I get to create, I want to leave an impact, knowledge, and a life forever changed.
While I hope to tell hundreds of stories for many years to come, I hope to leave a story of my own in the world of journalism.
